Introduction
This course expands on the creativity and originality through fiction writing, whether that's poems or writing a short story on how to survive a zombie apocalypse. We are given reading tasks to then expand on the deeper meanings and explore the metaphors hidden between texts of readings, through the found metaphors are we then able to relate them back to our present real world and how they affect us.

I chose to represent this project for this class because it was the most fun I had, we were given the freedom to approach it from any artistic outlet even outside of writing. So I made a dance based around the Native American legends of the skinwalker, while making this dance I respected the culture and indigenous background of where this legend came from so that way my movement was not a mock but more so an appreciation towards Native American culture. As I approached this project I envisioned myself that my body was shapeshifting throughout the day until my true form is revealed (alongside with a pal; my dog), what was also interesting about adding my dog into the video was that it could represent what I truly am in that moment but my human body is more of a controlling 3rd person factor manipulating the body of the dog. Another great thing was the use of scenery and sound, the outside ambience of a fan turning and cars passing until late at night when all you can hear are the crickets chirping is what makes this very powerful. I am happy to have done this project and hope this appeases to the urban legend of the Skinwalker in Native American Culture.

Reflection
I feel that a lot of the things we did throughout this course can be applied into our daily lives as critical thinking and adaptability skills, there was a lot of research involved into our writing projects and this was especially seen in our walking dead project when we had to create a survival guide on how to survive a zombie apocalypse. Doing things like this set us up to easily understand and become more innovative when approaching certain topics, when we are able to put ourselves outside of the cat-box and look in, we begin to understand things a little more clearly and then we begin to flip over the chessboard of simple solutions. Instead of finding simple solutions we can provide an excellent explanatory creative solution and idea so that we can continue to expand upon that solution. There is always never just one conclusion, only just the never ending of multiple rivers leading down to these solutions. Being a creative artist, I am consistently thinking of ideas of how I can apply areas such as math and science into my art but never thinking of ways to look outside of the cat-box, which this class taught me to do. If I am able to approach topics to find the deeper meaning using critical thinking then I believe that my succession in life will be very effective. Even outside of my own personal artform, as I continue to figure out this thing called "adulting" I can find so many solutions to problems as long as I do the research and I challenge my mind to think elsewhere.
